It shall provide residential accommodation to the needy and/or interested old and aged persons.
 

It shall provide food and medical support and facilities to the old aged persons.
 

It shall open libraries and reading room facilities for the old aged persons free of costs.
 

It shall hire and employ professors , teachers , instructor , doctors , vaids , hakims , nurses , servants , workmen and others and to pay them salaries  , wages , gratuities and pensions or such  other remuneration , honorarium as may necessary.
